Does Sprint Buddy need admin rights in Jira?

No. The OAuth connection requests read access to Jira work plus offline access so syncs can run later. Writing stories back to Jira uses the same authorised account's permissions.

Do I have to re-enter credentials for every sync?

No. The connection is stored encrypted for your workspace and reused for every sync until you disconnect it.

Can it separate sprint work from backlog?

Yes. Sprint Buddy reads Jira's sprint field and keeps active sprint items, future sprint items and backlog items apart, so the report only covers the sprint you selected.

Does it work with Jira Cloud and company-managed projects?
